I started Isagenix about five weeks ago on February 28, 2010.  My doctor recommended it to me several times in the last year as something that would help me cleanse toxins out of my body, but I didn't listen.  Finally, my brother-in-law and sister-in-law started it and I noticed a change in them so I also decided to give it a try.  I figured what could it hurt - it has a 30 day money back guarantee - even if you use the product.

Ordering a 30 day supply seemed like the way to go even though I really didn't know what to expect. A week later I received a box full of products.  I thought I was receiving just something that would make a shake.  So as you can imagine, I was surprised.  I read through the instructions, but really didn't understand them. It seemed too easy.  I called up my brother-in-law and he said just do what it says.  So I took out the products one by one and looked to see what to do with each.  So once you do it, you figure it out pretty easy.

I started on Sunday morning.  I made myself a meal replacement Shake, took an Accelerator, made a one ounce shot glass of Supreme and went off to church.  Regular routine has me coming home, picking up my husband and going to breakfast with my in-laws.  Now the first thing I noticed I was sitting in the restaurant and I wasn't hungry.  I ordered some juice and called it good.  We went out shopping for a while and came home around 1 p.m. for me to have another shake.  I felt everything was going pretty good.  I went to my sister-in-law's for dinner and had a nice meal.

Monday morning, oh boy, how do I incorporate this into my work week?  First I had to figure out how my husband and I could both be in the kitchen at the same time.  See, I'm not usually in the kitchen except to eat or munch on something.  I hurried and got ready for work and off to the kitchen I went.  I figured out pretty fast that the colder the Shake was the more I liked it.  So out came the blender with some ice cubes and there was a great Shake.  I told my husband that all it needed was a little ice cream and it would be wonderful.  We both laughed at that.

Off I went to work.  Now usually at work I have a nutritional bar around 10 a.m. and then start planning my lunch.  But this Monday was different.  I had my Shake and I was good.  I tried to drink more water, but I don't drink enough and I know it.  Busy, busy, at work and the next thing you know it is 1 p.m. and I haven't had anything to eat.  What a deal.  I grabbed my mixture and went to the kitchen.  I used just a little hand shaker this time with some crushed ice and water and made my Shake.  Now about 4 p.m., I'm getting a little hungry, but hey, I've usually found one of my snacks around the office by now.

After arriving home, I figured I could hold off eating until dinner.  This worked well.   Then before bedtime, I took an IsaFlush.  What was this going to do?  I didn't know.  I was just following the directions.

Day 2 - Day 8 - same as the day before.  Nothing new happens.  My Shake tastes a little better everyday.  I went over what they consider a week, but the reason was because I was being careful.  The month before I had two bladder infections - out of no where - full blown hurts really bad infections and I wasn't too sure about cleanse day and how I would feel.

Cleanse Day - you know, one of those days that you don't eat.  Well, since I always weigh on Saturday and on Saturday (Day 7) it showed a loss, I figured I would continue with this and see how it works.  So I started off my day with an Accelerator, my shot glass of Supreme, 4 ounces of Cleanse for Life, and 4 ounces of water.  Hey, that wasn't so bad.  Again, I went off to work.  Not really anything changing with me except I tried to drink more water and that brought about more trips to the restroom.  Now today I noticed I was getting hungry around Noon.  So I headed to the refrigerator for my drink.  Hey, it's even better cold.  I went back to my office for my 4 ounces of water.  I can't believe it, but that seemed to get rid of the hunger.  Usually eat at my desk anyway, so I just went on back to work.  Yes, that 4 p.m. hunger hit me again, but this time I drank my 4 ounces of Cleanse and 4 ounces of water.  Now I had a hard time deciding when to drink the next 4 ounces because - I didn't feel the need - yes, you read that right, I wasn't starving.  About 8 p.m. I decided to drink up before it got too late.  Before bed I took the Flush.

I figured I would be starving when I woke up the next morning - but again I was wrong.  I think I could have gone another day with cleansing, but I decided against it and made my Shake.  Sometimes during my work week, I didn't even think about my Shake until 2 p.m.

Weighing on the scales on Saturday (Week 2) showed another loss.  I'm happy and feeling good.  I see my brother-in-law at breakfast on Sunday and he's asking how I'm doing.  I tell him and he said, well you can have snacks - how come you aren't eating your snacks.  Snacks, I didn't know about the snacks.  I missed that in the reading.  But I'm tough, I don't need no stinking snacks!  I'm starting to like this and I especially like the side benefit of losing a few pounds.  Now I realize that some people reading this don't know me and don't know that I'm a "small frame" anyway, so I always have people telling me that I don't need to lose any weight.  But as most people know, it never hurts to shed a few pounds that accumulate when you're not looking.

Week 3 and Week 4 - still drinking two Shakes a day and continuing the once a week cleansing.  But now, I jump on the scales more and more.  I've noticed an average of two pounds per week.  It is amazing to see that I feel better, really stress is still at the maximum, but I'm not feeling it as much as I was.  And, I'm starting to realize that I'm not craving anything ........ except my Shakes.  I actually look forward to having my Shake.  Who would have ever thought it?  I'm eating fruits and veggies more than ever before.  Now the big decision - what to order next.  My supply is running very short.  So I reordered another 30 days.  I've reach my goal weight where I want to be - one and a half pants size loss (the half comes in because the size I was wearing was getting a little tight).  I should have had the most stressful week of my life last week at work, but instead I was on a level playing field.  Things went wrong and I was OK.  I calmly took care of it or explained to someone what happened and they were very calm back to me and LIFE IS GOOD.

My friends are saying, "Wow, you've lost weight.  What are you doing?"  I'm sending them to my website to read about it.  Then I hear "How long do you think you'll do it?"  My answer is, I hope forever.  Not the 30 day system, but a maintenance plan that keeps me feeling good.  How's my brother-in-law and sister-in-law doing - well, my brother-in-law is one pound from a 30 pound loss.  My sister-in-law is at a 20 pound loss.  They feel better and know that they look better too.

Update - Week 5 - I lost another pound.  Week 6 - I stayed the same weight.  My brother-in-law is over 30 pounds and my sister-in-law is up to a 24 pound loss.

Update - Week 18 - 4 months have passed - Most days still drinking two shakes a day, but eating what I want during my meal.  I thought I had reached my goal before, but I'm down two and a half pants sizes (again the half comes from the size I was wearing was getting a little tight).  I went on vacation and wore a bikini for the first time in I don't know when.  So if you were there on the beach and saw me - what can I say besides I didn't feel uncomfortable wearing it.  (I usually feel uncomfortable in a one piece!)  I can proudly say that I'm down 24 pounds - those pounds that everyone said I didn't need to loose.  Well, I feel better.  My husband started on it almost two months ago and he works out 45 minutes a day, 5 days a week.  He's being doing this for two years wanting to loose that "gut".  It hasn't worked.  Guess what - he's down 15 pounds and I don't know where he lost it from.  That "gut" is disappearing.  He's happy, feels good, and agrees with me that he's going to do it for life if it continues to make him feel good.

Time for an update on others - everyone has been asking me about my brother-in-law.  He's down 42 pounds.  My sister-in-law is down 35 pounds.  People don't even recognize them.  They've fallen off their routine and then get back on - why - because they start feeling bad and realize that they feel much better doing this program.  As a matter of fact, I was just talking to my brother-in-law and he was telling me how they had company over the 4th and ate out and ate too much all the weekend.  Today he feels bad.  He's ready to start feeling better again.

Update - Week 30 (Sept. 29) - 7 months -  I've maintained my new weight for 4 months.  Now I can say that I'm down three and a half pants sizes even by maintaining my weight.  Now people that haven't seen me for a while don't recognize me.  I'm doing so well.  I feel so good.  It is just amazing to me.  My parents have started it.  My mom has dropped 30 inches in 5 1/2 weeks (3 pants sizes!).  My dad has dropped a jeans size and has one notch left in his belt.  I have several other friends that have started on it and they all love it.  Come join my Isagenix team!  My brother-in-law is down 45 pounds, and my sister-in law is holding at 35 and this is after them just getting back from three weeks vacation.

Update - Year One  - I feel great.  I don't take any "medications".  I won't go into everything that I used to  take to maintain a stable life, but believe me the list was long*.  I've maintained my new weight.  People tell me that I need to stop losing.  I haven't lost anymore, but it just fits me better.  I went shopping yesterday for a few summer items.  Everything that I bought was one small size.  Do you know how that feels????  Let me tell you, it feels absolutely wonderful.  I feel like I'm a teenager again.  I had someone tell me that I was looking younger, and I can believe it because I feel it.  There is just no way for me to express this feeling.  If you get a chance, you should try it.  Email me and I'll buy you samples.

Update - a year and a half (September 28, 2011) - I still feel awesome.  It is just amazing to me that I can feel this good.  My friend Kim told me I was a walking billboard for my company.  Someone else told me I looked like a teenager.  What great compliments.  Come join me in the fun and get some compliments too.   I'm always looking for new people to join my team!

Update - over two and a half years (October 29, 2012) - I can't imagine not having my Isagenix shake every morning.  I know people are always asking haven't you got tired of that yet?  But how can you get tired of something that makes you feel so good?  I can instantly tell a difference in how I feel as I am drinking the shake.  Yes, I can feel energy, that's the name of my Company, so maybe that has something to do with it.  But if I can feel this good, imagine what it might do for you.

Thank you Dr. Bruce, Mike, and Debbie, for helping me to realize that I can feel even better than what I thought.

Now I'm adding it to the list of things that I "do".  If you'd like to learn more or have questions, please go to Isagenix or IsaProduct and watch a video like Are you Toxic? or Cleansed For Life.  Or feel free to contact me.
